GP practice assistant

At our GP practice you can turn to the GP practice assistant for general assistancy, for specific assistancy and for the assistancy consultation hour.

  • General assistancy  
    The GP practice assistant is the first person you speak to when you call the GP practice or when you report at the reception.  
    You can turn to the assistant to make appointments and for advice on common complaints. The assistant also knows answers to many practical questions, including recipes and referrals.  
      
  • Specific assistancy    
    The GP practice assistant is trained to preform various medical handlings such as:
    • taking care of wounds
    • giving injections
    • the removal of stitches
    • the spouting of ears
    • doing of urine tests
    • treating warts
      Specific assistancy handlings are done every working day from 10.00 until 12.00 hours. For this you have to make an appointment.
       
  • Assistant consultation hour    
    You can come to the assistant consultation hour for:
    • taking smears in the context of the population screening
    • guidance of patients with hypertension (high blood pressure)
    • guidance of patients with diabetes mellitus type II (diabetes)
      The assistant consultation hour is held Wednesday and Thursday from 14.30 until 16.00 hours. For this you have to make an appointment.
