A urinary tract infection (also called UTI) is an infection of the urinary tract caused by bacteria. In most cases a bladder infection is caused by a urinary tract infection.
If, after consultation with the GP practice, there is a suspicion that you have a bladder infection, this can be investigated further by means of a urine test.
For this you have to fill in and submit the UTI form. To make use of this form you have to be registered at our GP practice.
After submitting the form you will receive a confirmation email at the provided email address.
You also have to hand in fresh, 'washed pee' at the reception the same day before 10.00. For this you do not have to make an appointment.
The same day after 13.00 you can phone the GP practice for the results of the investigation.
